For Someone

This was quickly for someone with whom we shared a difficult experience, recently, and who likes to write rhyming poetry, (which is something I will never hope to accomplish).

Life is light,
and pain.
Life, itself, is the most
bittersweet
experience
of all.
The Lord knew it.
His life and ours
is shared
in the mysterious
communal meal
of justice
and
redemption.
In all,
he draws us to him,
as we feed on his grace.
