Stefan died

My son died yesterday in an automobile accident.
He was a passenger.
Born: June 28, 1990, Edmonton
Died: January 2, 2009, secondary highway 643
Baptized: July 29, 1990, Christ Lutheran, Fort Saskatchewan

I won't be blogging.

We are doing ok, considering the circumstances.
Pray also for his birthfamily. Thank you.

I am so terribly sorry.

May the Lord comfort you and all his family and may the Lord be holding your son in His loving arms this very moment.

My heart breaks for you.

I am so sorry.
Today is the first day I have checked on your blog in almost a week. I can't tell you how sorry I am to hear of this.
You are in my prayers.

Don't worry about us Bror. We have lots of faith and lots of pastors in our lives. We're doing reasonably alright and there has been so much love shared, it's unbelievable.

I very much appreciate you and your sentiments and your prayers. I hope you had a great week with your son.

I'm sure by my ID you'll learn how I got here.

I wasn't raised to believe in God but I truly believe there is a surreal place where we go and wait to be with those who loved us in our earthly lives.

I'm one of the moderators of the site. I am a survivor of such a loss. My father was killed when a driver ran a red light as my dad crossed the street on a green. It was the day before I was to graduate high school and he had just finished buying me a gift at a local jewelery store.

My first husband was killed by a drunk driver.

What my tragedies have taught is you move forward. Life moves forward but for me I gain my strength in helping to advocate for road safety and driver education. But in my mind's eye, everyday will always be the day I last saw my dad. I can say that was the last time I really lived.

I'm sorry about what happened to your son.

Thank you Julie. That's so sad.

I think your advocacy is good. I can start to feel the activist rising in myself, also. I am getting angry somewhat about a few things. But our time is still truly in God's hands and to some degree you need to leave it there. There must be life after this. There will be life after this.
Love, Brigitte.
