I am thinking, it may not be legal to post these pictures, here, but this is not a high volume blog. Don't post it to the Wittenberg Trail, maybe. Who knows about rights these days... Not me.
1. The cover. I like it. The colored rectangle and squares make me think of stained glass windows, but not ancient ones. There is a cross, too, if you look the right way. The colors are the same as the coding in the book and the colors of the ribbons. Also the cover gives you the idea that the book is for more than singing from on Sunday morning. Important concept that we don't quite get from the way the LSB is set up or even named.
2. The inside. "Antworten finden"--"finding answers". That's great. Go to your hymn book for answers. Lots of food, there. There follows also a section with headings like "fear", "freedom", "joy", whatever, with hymn suggestions beneath them. Kind of like those Gideon Bibles. Check these verses for this or that issue in your life.
3. Picture of Father and the Prodigal Son
4. Gethsemane.
5. The pictures are all striking. Yet, this one made me think: "I've had a year of this crying with other people." The verse on the opposite page is: "Weep with those who weep..." Then I learned its title from the register in the back: "The parents." Maybe, that's why I have my head in hymmbooks.
6. The good Samaritan opposite "I am Jesus little lamb". Jesus, the ultimate good Samaritan.
7. The Flogging
8. Church in.... (have to look it up again)
